Frequently Asked Questions about Working with Performance Staffing

If you’ve never worked with Performance Staffing, or any other staffing firm, you may have some questions about how we operate. Below we answer some of the most frequently asked questions.

We will never charge you a fee! Our goal is to help you find a job that matches your skills, work preference and schedule.

When you’re placed on a temporary assignment through Performance Staffing, we are always your employer. Often, assignments result in opportunities for permanent job offers or temp to permanent employment. In these situations, you may be required to work through Performance Staffing for a minimal amount of days.

At Performance Staffing, we pay our employees on a weekly basis. Our pay period runs weekly from Monday through Sunday with paydays on either Friday or Monday, depending on the assignment.

An employee’s hours must be communicated to our office by 10:00 a.m. on your designated pay day. Performance Staffing processes payroll efficiently and your check will be ready at 2:00 p.m. on your pay day. We ask that employees who use paper timesheets bring the supervisor approved timesheet into our office when picking up your paycheck. You can choose to receive your check by mail, pick it up at our office, or sign up for direct deposit.

Our assignments may range in length from four hours to several months or longer, depending on our client’s needs.
