Overview
Our office is recruiting for the position of automotive mechanic. The right person will be dedicated to providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services.
While mechanic knowledge and experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and vehicle inspections
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, and steering systems
- Conduct brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing
- Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify faults accurately
- Repair diesel engines and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)
- Maintain detailed service records and prepare estimates for repairs using auto estimating software
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently and safely during repairs
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience or a willingness to be trained
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmission systems, and auto body repair techniques preferred
- Familiarity with schematics, automotive diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
